Program Description

Event Details

Have you heard of Denim Day? Started in 1999, this is a day of observance for survivors of sexual assault and abuse, acknowledged on the final Wednesday in April (which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month). Denim Day is the longest-running sexual violence prevention and education campaign.

Come learn more about Denim Day and related resources in our community while creating some relaxing art projects! There will be etch art, DIY "watercolors," coloring, card making, and more. Participants can also take a Denim Day pin.

This program is for teens in grades 6-12. Registration is not required.
