Grades 3-5

Welcome to the Liberty Science Center laboratory. We are influenced every day by the microbes around us, especially viruses! Take on the role of epidemiologists and use online simulations to investigate the transmission of viruses. Make predictions and manipulate variables to speed or slow the rate of infection. 

If you would like to follow along with the LSC STEM Educator during the session, here are the materials you will need:

  • Shallow bowl or plate
  • Water
  • Pepper
  • Liquid Dish Soap [Small cup]
