Listen to a read aloud of The Day Gravity Goes Loco by Ryan Maloney and create a hands-on project to study the force of gravity on falling objects. Learn about the scientist Galileo and use critical thinking skills to design and create your own pom pom drop obstacle course.  *Note: You must have permission from your caregiver to use masking tape on a wall at home.

In the Pick Up Information section below, please indicate at which library branch you would like to pick up your craft kit. Please be aware of our designated pick up dates and hours at each branch for this program. 

Branch: Kennedy Library (500 Hoes Lane)

  • Designated pick up dates: Sunday, March 13, through Wednesday, March 16
  • Designated pick up hours: During our regular operating hours (Monday-Thursday from 10 AM - 9 PM; Friday-Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM; Sunday from 1 PM - 5 PM)

Branch: Westergard Library (20 Murray Ave)

  • Designated pick up dates: Monday, March 14, and Tuesday, March 15
  • Designated pick up hours: From 2 PM - 4 PM
