for teens ages 13+
Did you know that your garden can provide dyes for your yarn and fabrics? This is an introduction to harvesting natural dyes from plants. We'll cover the basics of the science behind natural dyeing and learn about which plants can impart lasting color.
This workshop is part presentation and part hands-on experimentation. Each participant will take home swatches of their naturally dyed fabric and yarn.
