Teens entering Grades 6-12 are invited to join us at this orientation session to learn how to volunteer at the library. We will be going over basic guidelines and viewing a required training video. 

Kids in Grades K-5 are invited to drop by the Children's Room for crafts! No registration required.

"Hop" into story time with Ms. Erica! Enjoy stories, songs, and a craft.

Earl Hicks will offer a lecture and demonstration on the history, science, and crafting of terrariums. The instructor will then guide the participants through the process of crafting their own terrarium to take home.

American Sign Language for Beginners 2

This five-week course continues and expands upon the basic lessons from American Sign Language for Beginners 1. Priority will be given to those who have completed ASL for Beginners 1.  

Join us in the Kennedy Cafe for a fun morning of painting! We'll paint and decorate 4" terracotta pots with custom vinyl decals that you'll make yourself!

Come mingle with other parents/caregivers as your child/children play. Good opportunity to chat with other caregivers and socialize.

Twilight Tales Family Story Time

Ages 2-8 years

Join us for another fantastic program with Lynn Schwartz of Art Experience NJ! Ms. Lynn will guide us through creating  fairy light luminaries with wildflower motifs. This project is perfect for spring!

Ages 4 and Up

Pride Hour is a monthly social hour and safe space for LGBTQ+ adults and their allies with a different activity each time.

We will be joined by the Quantitative Development Lab from Rutgers University! The Quad Lab studies mathematical concepts in children, specifically how they think about proportions before they are taught about them in school.

Let's get loud! Join us for a noisy storytime filled with dancing, music, and more.

Join us in the Kennedy conference room and learn how to knit using a loom. Bring your own loom and yarn or borrow one of ours.
