American Sign Language for Beginners 2

This six-week course continues and expands upon the basic lessons from American Sign Language for Beginners 1. Priority will be given to those who have completed ASL for Beginners, but is not necessary to attend the course.

Course will include:

Review of basic vocabulary; Color and Question words; Fingerspelling drills to improve "listening" through your eyes;

Animal signs; Classifiers; Deaf Culture & Folklore; and Deaf History.

Be amazed! Bring your enthusiasm to our class!

This course will be led by certified ASL Instructor, Jay Hicks, who is an Adjunct Professor at Caldwell University. He previously taught at the Deaf Mosaics Center at Kean University and at William Paterson University.
