Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a 90-minute workshop where you will learn the basics of game development in Python! Python is a widely used and powerful programming language powering many of the apps you use on a daily basis.

In this workshop, we will guide you in creating your very own video game using Pygame, a powerful and approachable game development framework that you can use to bring your video game ideas to life!

Along the way, you’ll learn introductory programming concepts and the fundamentals of game design. These include player movement, computer graphics, and randomly generated worlds.

No programming experience is required, but we recommend foundational understanding of pre-algebra concepts.
