Holi is a Hindu Spring festival in India, also known as the festival of colors or the festival of sharing love. The festival signifies the arrival of spring, end of winter, and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Come learn about Holi through stories and games, and get creative mixing colors with tempera paint sticks, oil pastels, and colored pencils to make a special Holi card to celebrate the festival of colors!  Stay after the program and have fun throwing colored powder outside and be sure to wear old and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting stained. Registration required.
