Event Details

For PreK to Grade 6

Have you ever admired a Persian rug and marveled at its intricate craftsmanship? That may explain why these rugs are so valuable. Persian rugs are just one example of the rich world of Islamic art, which spans regions across the Gulf, Turkey, parts of Europe, Africa, and India. From Turkish pottery and Taj Mahal engravings to Moroccan mosaics, stained mirrors, and, of course, Persian rugs, Islamic art has shaped cultures worldwide.

Celebrate Muslim Heritage Month with us and explore how Islamic art and architecture have enriched human civilization and fostered cultural connections through our specially prepared art and crafts and activities.  Registration required.
