In collaboration with the Ukrainian National Women's League of America, and to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor Genocide of 1932-33, we will be watching the movie Mr. Jones as well as listening to a presentation by a to-be-announced speaker.
Mr Jones is a 2019 biographical thriller film. It loosely tells the story of Gareth Jones, a journalist from Wales, who in 1933 travels to the Soviet Union and uncovers the truth about the Holodomor, the devastating famine in Ukraine in which millions died.
