Join award-winning entertainer Patricia Shih on a fascinating multi-century visit to the world's oldest continuous civilization and learn how the Lunar New Year is celebrated in China and many other countries.  Ms. Shih will cover culture, food, music, language, customs and more, and attendees will enjoy a special dance performance by Xiao Fen Krasowitz, a professional dancer skilled in traditional, ribbon and fan dances. Children will also receive "Good Luck" Lunar New Year dragon coloring page souvenirs, make a special celebration lantern to take home, and some lucky volunteers will get to play Chinese instruments and become the lion dancers.
