Oops, **Patricia Shih's Lunar New Year program has been rescheduled to Sunday, January 22, at 2:00pm.

Please join us on Saturday, January 14, for Lunar New Year fun and enjoy a story, games and crafts at 3:00pm at Kennedy Library!

**Award-winning entertainer Patricia Shih introduces the Lunar New Year to families! She will lead the audience through a fascinating multi-century visit to the world’s oldest continuous civilization and talk about how Lunar New Year is celebrated in many countries. Ms. Shih will cover culture, food, music, language, customs and much more.

Learn about how this important lunar holiday is celebrated in China, from which many other cultures in East Asia spring. The program will include children receiving special “good luck” New Year souvenirs, and some lucky volunteers will get to play Chinese instruments and become the lion dancers.
