Event Details

The MoleCOOL Scientist, Shreya, will show you how to extract DNA from a strawberry! We will go over the basics of what DNA is and how we can observe it using a strawberry and an extraction liquid made from a few household materials. We’ll go through each step of the experiment together, not just adding each ingredient, but also going over why exactly that ingredient works and ensuring we all get strawberry DNA to take home!
