Did you know that we celebrate National Puppy Day in March? Partnering with Sammy’s Hope, our story time will focus on choosing and adopting a new furry family member. Do you know what your new friend needs before coming to your house? Staff members from Sammy’s Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center in Sayreville will join us to talk about the best way to bring a new family member into your home. Enjoy a book about pet adoption and make a very special craft.

In the Pick Up Information section below, please indicate at which library branch you would like to pick up your craft kit. Please be aware of our designated pick up dates and hours at each branch for this program. 

Branch: Kennedy Library (500 Hoes Lane)

  • Designated pick up dates: Sunday, March 20, through Wednesday, March 23
  • Designated pick up hours: During our regular operating hours (Monday-Thursday from 10 AM - 9 PM; Friday-Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM; Sunday from 1 PM - 5 PM)

Branch: Westergard Library (20 Murray Ave)

  • Designated pick up dates: Monday, March 21, Tuesday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 23
  • Designated pick up hours: From 2 PM - 4 PM
