Are you a Piscataway resident between the ages of 12-17 years* who is interested in volunteering at the library this summer? If so, please join us for our summer volunteer training session. Our teen volunteers assist us in running our Summer Reading Club for children ages 0-12 years from June 17th through August 5th. Volunteers will earn two hours of volunteer time per week. Tasks involve signing up individuals for the summer reading program as well as handing out incentives. Duties may also include craft prep and additional tasks.

IMPORTANT: Teens will be required to view the MEL Safety Institute's twenty-minute video "Protecting Children from Abuse" during the training session. Caregivers are welcome to view the training video with their teen at the library or in advance (contact sedwards@piscatawaylibrary.org for instructions on how to view the video in advance).

*Volunteers MUST be 12 years of age on or before June 17th.
