Get kindergarten ready with Ms. Karin! Read stories, sing songs, and play games each week that encourage different social & learning skills.

Design your own birdhouse! This workshop will be led by artist Lynn Schwartz from Art Experience NJ. Registration is required. 

Ages 6-24 months

After headstrong Luke nearly delivers the good guys into Palpatine's clutches, Master Yoda and the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi unearth the Holocrons -- last remnants of the secrets of the Jedi -- to further Luke's training.

Bring your imagination and use The Force to design fun Star Wars characters, droids, ships, and more with LEGO!  

Stop by the MiY Makerspace on Star Wars Day to create your own Yoda bookmark! Be one with the Force and never lose your page again.

This program is for teens and adults only.

Make and keep your own lightsaber.  Then join us for Lightsaber Academy  beginning at 2pm.  The only limits are the Force within you! 

Learn how to wield a lightsaber from 6th-degree taekwondo black belt Brian Peterson of Raritan Valley ATA.

Join us for a creative building experience. We'll supply the Legos and you supply the imagination. No registration required.

Rutgers Master Gardener Vik Meadows will explain the cultural significance as well as the science behind their companion growth. Participants will be provided with a growing kit. 

Teens entering Grades 6-12 are invited to join us at this orientation session to learn how to volunteer at the library. We will be going over basic guidelines and viewing a required training video.

Join us for a magic-filled story time as we explore the land of make believe, legends and fairy tales through story telling and crafts.

Explore the characteristics of our scaly friends, the reptiles! Meet reptile ambassadors to learn about their differences and how they adapt to their habitats. Registration Required.

Gain the skills and confidence you need to recognize a medical emergency and save a life. This program will cover hands-only CPR, AED usage, stroke recognition, and choking relief. 

Ages 6-24 months

Take a plain wooden house, and turn it into a dream cottage!! Using various supplies including paint, appliques, and fairy garden figurines, decorate your mini house however you'd like!
