Ages 6-24 months

Join us in the Kennedy cafe for open scrapbook time. We'll provide plenty of paper and tools- you provide the imagination! This is a casual social group where participants will learn from each other. There is no formal instruction. 

Free For All: The Public Library (Documentary Screening) 

Teens entering Grades 6-12 are invited to join us at this orientation session to learn how to volunteer at the library. We will be going over basic guidelines and viewing a required training video. 

Need a hand using your laptop, mobile device, the Internet, or software? Do you want to learn how to download eBooks, audiobooks, or use other Library resources? Our friendly team will do our best to help.

Learn the basics of hand sewing while creating your very own snuggly sloth!

Registration is required. This event is only for teens in grades 6-12, ages 12-18. 

Grades 1 to 5

Join us for a creative building experience. We'll supply the Legos and you supply the imagination. No registration required.

Drop in to practice reading to trained therapy dogs from Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Feel free to bring your favorite book or use one from the library. Great for reluctant or struggling readers!

In this workshop, we will use masking fluid to reserve a white area for a complete wet watercolor painting. It is a unique technique in this type of painting. Please note this will take place at the Westergard Library.

Pride Hour is a monthly social hour and safe space for LGBTQ+ adults and their allies with a different activity each time. Do you want to learn how to do fun makeup looks, but don’t know where to start? Join us for a makeup class!
