Program Description
Event Details
Join us for our second annual book swap! Discuss your favorite books written by or about a member of the LGBTQ+ community and bring in an LGBTQ+ book to swap with fellow participants! Bringing a book to swap is not mandatory to participate in the conversation. In honor of Banned Books Week, we’ll also discuss the censorship of LGBTQ+ books and learn what librarians are doing to fight back. Participants are invited to read passages from their books and will have the opportunity to enter a book raffle. Buttons, stickers, and bookmarks will be available as well!
Pride Hour is a monthly social hour and safe space for LGBTQ+ adults and their allies with a different activity each time.
